Not sure if it was Ginger, Flossy, Scramble or Lofty but one of them laid a tiny egg today, not much bigger than the crispy covered mini eggs you get at easter – this one wasn’t chocolate though!

8 eggs again today! Well done chicks 🐓👍🏻

For the first time Clucky, Hetty, Omlette, Nugget, Ginger, Flossy, Scramble and Lofty all laid on the same day! Go girls👍🏻😀

Clucky, Nugget, Hetty & Omlette have taken themselves up into their coop at dusk ever since we’ve had them. For the last few evenings we’ve found Nugget roosting on the top of her coop while the other 3 from her coop are inside and Ginger, Flossy, Scramble & Lofty are inside theirs. She doesn’t make a fuss when we pop her in but obviously enjoys a little solitude. I used a flash but the video is very dark, you can just see her settled on the roof!

Ginger, Flossy, Scramble & Lofty all laid again today along with 3 from Clucky’s coop👍🏻

They ate all the sprouts yesterday but boy were the coops dirty today both took much longer to get clean! Perhaps they won’t have sprouts very often!

A friend asked if our chickens like sprouts so we thought we’d find out ….
